I got a Philips CD-i but I mistook this output for RF. This is the same as Digital Coaxial right? Does it have to use a special cable?
>>
It is Digital Coax, you can use any plain RCA cable to plug it into a receiver that supports it. Should sound great too.

Says right there

"CD/DA ONLY"

CD/Digital Audio, or Red Book, only.

But it will be Digital instead of Analog? And how can I how do it anyway? It's only 1 port.
>>
>>3362130
Yeah it's stereo digital, just plug it into a reciever that supports digital audio via coax. It will only work on CDs tho as the other anon mentioned.

So it doesn't work when you play games?

I'm assuming no based on what the writing under the jack says, but I don't know enough about the CD-i to say for sure.

Just tested, Composite cables like >>3362023
said work. Apparently it does only work with Audio CD's and not games wich is a shame.
