Nobody remembers Necrobius, and that makes me sad. Like, it's actually a much bigger feat than just finding those Japanese games because Necrobius didn't get RELEASED until somebody here contacted the developer and he made it freeware.

How do you actually play it? Like, I was able to play a bit of it on a XP, but I don't have one of those anymore. It doesn't seem compatible with any new OSes.

I got it to work by installing windows 3.1 in dosbox. see http://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=9405 Make sure you install the video and audio drivers.
After it's all set up, mount the game's .img file (in addition to the windows c drive) so you can properly access/run it from within the windows 3.1 file manager. In the file manager, open the mounted image and run the .exe in the win_apps folder.
