Has anyone done it? Did you regret it? I'm contemplating either getting rid the whole thing or switching to Everdrive. The main reason is I don't have time to play them anymore.

I've sold my retro games but I've regretted it pretty quickly.
I only ever buy the top 10s for each system ,though. I never collect huge heaps of shit I cant play.
In the mid-to-late 90s I sold or traded away many of my games that I had convinced myself I had either outgrew or outplayed. With just a couple of exceptions I've regretted doing that and I've been slowly reacquiring many of those childhood games I once shunned.

You should keep the ones you cherish for sentimental reasons. Weed out the ones you know you'll never care about

Do it. You'll hate your piles of plastic when you have to move. Just emulator or use flashcarts. Nostalgia is fleeting and never quite fulfilling while enjoying good game design is consistently satisfying.
I sold all NES stuff to Funcoland for more SNES games, kinda regret that, but got some good games out of the deal so it wasn't all bad.
Sold the SNES games for everdrive, no regrets. Just don't sell any games that don't work on the everdrive.
The only way you'll really regret it is if you are collector.

I sold a whole ton of my old stuff about six months ago. All I kept was a Saturn because emulation still sucks and a Nomad because it's cute. Got 800+ bucks and didn't regret it at all. But in my case I had moved to emulation 99% of the time years ago anyways and hadn't touched any of it in ages so there wasn't much to really miss.
