Anybody else prefer this to any of the versus games? The versus games get all the attention, but honestly for some reason this game just feels like a better game when I play it than any of them

Yes
but the main reason is I don't like tag team. The gem system was meh desu and probably why it never got the hype it deserved

It just feels less frantic and all over the place, I can't really put my finger on it but it just feels so much easier to go from Street Fighter to it as opposed to Street Fighter to one of the VS titles
The Infinity Gem gimmick is whatever, I don't see it as anything great but it doesn't bother me either
