You mean prancin' punchers, OP? Overall, probably Bare Knuckle 2, but I'm always looking for new stuff. I found Night Slashers thanks to some anon on this board and I'd like to pass that recommendation along. It controls well, has ridiculous horror enemies, and the JP version is full of over-the-top cartoony gore while not being too terribly difficult for an arcade game.

Aside from Blaze's panty shots, is there anything special about BK2 compared to SOR2?
>>
>>3347818
No, in most games defeated enemies shrink down into a REALLY small size and get teleported to the final boss's pocket where they are safe.
>>
>>3347826
Just the panty shots I think, but that is a critically important difference if you play Blaze. Oh, and Skate's name I guess.

>/v/ suddenly doesn't like Guardian Heroes

When did this board get so hipster that they hate even Treasure's games?
>>
>>3347858
I actually just found my copy I had thought was stolen with my other games a year ago. Thanks for the reminder, anon. That game gives me a major Slayers vibe.
>>
>>3347858
Hey buddy, I think you got the wrong board. /v/'s three boards up.
>>
>>3347858

It carried over from the shmup generals where hipsters pretend to hate Ikaruga because it's popular.
>>
>>3347858

Guardian Heroes is bloated, easy and dumbed down by jRPG crap. Treasure always manages to fuck arcade genres up with their crap.

Favorite game is probably Armored Warriors. Absolutely stellar presentation, unique gameplay with all the mobility options you have, the mech customization system that gives huge playstyle variety, plus the amazing weapons you have. I love its emphasis on offense and tearing things apart quickly. Such a masterpiece.

Alien vs. Predator, Shadow Over Mystara and Denjin Makai II are also great ones, but Armored Warriors just gets everything right.
