I had both Maximum Carnage and Spider-Man TAS on the SNES growing up

While Maximum Carnage is awesome, I feel like you could replace Spider-Man in it and you wouldn't notice. Spider-Man TAS's gameplay nails exactly what he should play like in 2D prior to the 3D revolution

Nigger, go fucking kill yourself. Spider-man TAS was a dogshit game with ass hit detection and shit platforming. The level design was shit and trying to web swing on places was shit thanks to garbage controls.

Maximum Carnage was a run of the mill brawler that was sometimes fun because it was at least straightforward and it worked. It's only problem was the crowd control and no multiplayer.

Love this game. Amazing soundtrack and graphics. Gameplay is simple and fun. Except long-ass flying section.
