Oooooo
Dubbed to English or with the original broadcast audio from somebody's VHS tape?
>>3341506
English dubbed unfortunately. I'm not too fond on the voice actor, but beggars can't be choosers. It's still amazing they managed to actually make it though.

Here's a video from last year, don't know if the audio changed since.
Also goddamn the audio files are over 2GB.
>>3341537
Sounds like it's begging for my radio voice and audio compression knowledge to redub it. What's the voice supposed to be? Gannon? God?
>>3341543
Probably too little too late at this point, but I guess you're welcome to try if you have a suave sex voice, just talk to them.
I think the whole audio is like 4 hours, but not sure how much of that time is voice acting, most of it is probably just musical interludes.
>>3341553
I'd just produce it without their permission. Compressing and reinserting audio files is easy. 4 hours of audio taking 2 gigabytes is like CD WAV tier quality.
>>3341569
The absolute madman
>>3341569
I don't think the MSU-1 chip supports audio compression though.
This is cool as hell, certainly something I didn't think would get made. Props
Can someone explain to me what this is? Was this an unreleased Zelda remake with?
>>3341579
Not modern compression methods, no.

>All this build-up for some regular dude doing his "I hope mom doesn't hear me" voice for four hours.
I respect the fuck out of the dedication but to what end, man? We need to find a godly, radio-voice having fucker for this and make it happen.
bs shitty romhack from the moon, talk about some real games you fucking plebs
>>3342087
shut up dad
i'll play what i want
>>3341487
Yep, it's bullshit alright, just like everything else Nintendo has produced.
>>3342079
Alright faggots let's all chip in
How much are Tyrone's hourly rates
>>3341537
1:24
Is that fucking Worf
>>3341537
>That intro
B-but the original Zelda was about being thrown into Hyrule with little to no knowledge, especially not that you're some prophet.
>>3341569
Godspeed anon
>>3342376
This isn't the original Zelda (nor a canon Zelda for that matter) and they didn't alter the script. Not sure what you're arguing against.
>>3342096
We'd probably have to order about 400 individual 'videos' and throw them together but goddamn, it'd be great.
>>3342376
do you even know what bs zelda is?
>>3343542
How the fuck would a SNES have the power to decode a modern codec you dummie
And mp4 isn't a codec, it's a container
>>3343635
The SNES isn't the thing decoding the streaming audio it's the MSU-1 chip created by Byuu in like 2010. IIRC there were MP3 players selling for like $10 then so you would think at the very least there would be MP3 support.
>>3343542
My guess is since Byuu has some kind of period-correct boner so he was probably trying to take a step toward a SNES-CD device? I guess the roms can be DVD sized though which isn't very period accurate.
>>3343671
>period-correct boner
Makes me imagine a penis dressed like this
>>3341487
This is insanely awesome. Unfortunately, I can't download the games pcm files from the readme link because Microsoft's Jewdrive put a file sharing limit on the zip containing the audio files.

If anyone has an alternate download/mirror of the necessary pcm files to get the broadcast audio in the game, I would be super grateful.
How good is the game? Has anyone tried it out yet?

It's BS Zelda, a SNES release of the original Legend of Zelda that was available on SatellaView a 90s Japanese video game channel/service. It features the BS boy or girl avatars instead of Link and it originally had live voice-over provided in analog format by the channel itself the restoration of which is the subject of this thread. There was also a timed element and some kind of social element that iirc has yet to be incorporated
nice, hopefully they restore the timer which is what actually matters
>>3345416
>>3346783
There are timed elements (such as sword being powered up, all drops becoming faries, etc), along with a time limit of 50 minutes in the new patch, if that's what you're talking about. No social elements I can think of though.
HOW DO YOU GET THE SILVER ARROWS?
