Is there any trick to avoiding lightning strikes or is it pretty much dumb luck?
I've gotten pretty good at avoiding earthquakes, but lightning doesn't seem to have any kind of telegraph.

The scanner tells you how severe the light ing is before you land.
Before I get the lander upgrades I avoid anything with higher than like severity 3 its usually not worth the fuel/crew

It seems random enough.
I've never noticed any tells.

Now that I think about it I think there is a tell, at least on very severe worlds where there will be a small strike before a big one, bit no way to avoid it besides returning to the ship
