Namco arcade thread
Pac & Pal is one of the more unknown Pac-Man games. Like in Super Pac-Man, you have to open gates by eating keys (cards this time). A new feature is items that you can use to stun the ghosts, like the capture beam from Galaga, and the smoke screen from Rally-X. It's a lot of fun.
I remember playing this on Namco Museum Megamix, pretty fun.
Anybody remember pic related?
I just got a PSN card and bought all 5 volumes.
Volume 4 is downloading right now, can't wait to play muh Tower of Duraga
Is it weird I actually like Pac & Pal and Super Pac-Man quite a lot? Everybody brings them up as examples of Midway/Namco whoring out the license but I think they're pretty fun. I won't argue for Professor Pac-Man, though.
Dragon Buster.
Splatterhouse.

Yeh, I remember them. Vol. 3 seemed to be the most common/easy to find in rental shops way back in the day. The others were pretty rare, especially 2 and 5 I think, at least in my experience. I think Vol. 3 is the cheapest one out of them all too these days, the others can get a bit pricey, that's cool you can get them off PSN now though, I didn't know that.

I love Pac&Pal a lot actually, it's a very comfy Pac-Man game. Also, Toypop is great and Youkai Douchuuki is fun.

Somehow the MSX version looks better. I guess I think the little hero is cuter.
