ITT Western games trying very hard to be Japanese. Can anybody name a more weeaboo /vr/ game than World Rally Fever?
>>
Thanks op, I've got a new game to play. Looks cool.

When I played the newly released demo version as a kid, I'd never seen any anime/manga, so I missed the weeabooness. I thought this さん was a graphics glitch.

It turns out you really can sneak gay porn into your All Ages game if you're subtle about it. After all, nobody can read the caption, right?

World Rally Fever is surprisingly fun once you've figured out the weird physics. On modern machines it can run at 70fps on 70Hz, which is better than I remember it.

I remember that too. A pity there doesn't seem to be a modern source port. It's possibly even more weeaboo than WRF.
>>
>>3335061
I would say so, from these screenshots WRF could actually pass as Japanese.
>>
>>3335073
I'm pretty sure the devs are French. Most weeaboo country in Europe?
>>
>>3335080
Apparently they were Belgian. France is definitely the most weeaboo though, then Italy.

Metal Warriors of course, but that's almost too easy, though it was actually published by konami and almost hits that looks japanese space that WRF reaches.

Septerra Core. Came out under influence of those darn popular light-rpgs. Note that the developer, Valkyrie Studios, has a logo bearing a vague resemblance to the logo of a certain retro valkyrie game.

Sheep by Mind's Eye Interactive. Not as obviously weeaboo, but I feel like the inspiration from japanese visual aesthetic is there right down to the mascot-tier animal design. Weeaboo in that mid-2000s gaiafag deviantart sense. Surprisingly a decent game though.
And for not /vr/ we have a little-known abomination I just have to get off my chest: After Tsunami 2265.

Actually post-2000 you see a few of these weeaboo games pop up, but /vr/ titles also exist, and I'm sure there are more I'm not recalling and even more I don't know.

What's more weeaboo than a robot fighting game?
>>
>>3335578
So right off the bat first blondie looks just like Bundle from GoShogun Steffan here looks just like both Shingo also from GoShogun and Go from getter robo armageddon, Third guy reminds me of Fei From Xenogears last guy looks like Hayato Jin they second blondie looks like Ken from Street fighter II

I though I was the only one who actually remembers this game. It's surprising good, albeit impossibly hard in the final set of tracks.
>>
>>3335035
I actually tried really hard to beat the demo and try to like it just because it was anime. Never ended up getting the full game though, it just wasn't good enough.

There was also all those bunch of 90s translated anime games like that Knights of something... and Power Dolls I think was a translated PC game.

"World Oral World"
What did they mean by this?
>>
>>3336910
>using Windows
Running on any system is one of the best things about /vr/ games.
>>
>>3336956
It's just "oral world", the texture repeats. And despite the low resolution, low color depth, and distortion from the texture wrapping around the corner of the building, once you've read it that's clearly a dick.

Maybe it's meant to be "Aural World," judging from the headphones on the sign.

The pic could be headphones too. It's vague enough that it could be lots of things.

Heavy Gear
Shadow Madness
