What are some old gems with unconventional gameplay/settings you don't see in modern games which you'd like to see a nice new fan remake of?

It also supports Hercules, but this was a Mac game they ported to the PC and did it in the most lazy way possible (using strictly monochrome graphics means they get out of having to totally redesign them).
