What variant of Angband is that? I never saw one that presented that little message at the bottom before, I think.

Speaking of Nethack, I got this Vulture for Nethack in some random sale, but is it any good? The reviews seem to be all over the place.
On topic, one of my favourite dungeon crawling games back in the day was Get Medieval, basically Gauntlet with humorous soundfiles. Great fun in multiplayer, and pretty decent levels all round.

I just pulled a tasty looking screenshot from Google image search, but looks like that's a battery% at the bottom, so I will guess: something for tablet.

Cause I played it a lot with the regular graphics, and am a curious man.

IBMgraphics ≥ DECgraphics > ASCII > EbonHack tiles
Anything else is ruining the game

I tried the QTNethack stuff once, and found that a lot harder to see what's going on. I guess it's because the tiles are so small. The Nintendo DS graphical version is even worse that way.
DCSS has much more reasonable tiles. But I generally play all these games in xterm or even at the text console (not running X). It just feels right to me.

anyone have the image comparing a map of Daggerfall's dungeons to Skyrim's?
