thx m8

I wasn't able to find what game it was beacuse it's a homebrew

There was once a standalone machine, it did not have any cartridge ports. It was shaped like a motorbiking helmet, and displayed some pretty smooth color vector art. I remembered the game was pretty fun. I think it may have been released prior to the 90s.

I remember seeing a game for Mac only, it was fake 3D like Doom, but it was a slow paced RPG like thing where you had to pick bullets up off the floor one at a time and had a inventory screen full of like shitty knives and shit like that.

inb4 Marathon; it's not that

I did a search for PSX game Michelle and found it.

No, it was not an arcade game. It was closer to a small home portable. As mentioned it was in the shape/size of a motorbiking helmet.

At the time most portables I knew were monochrome LCDs, but this one was color vector graphics.

You're very welcome, it's the forgotten Bungie classic. If you happen to have a modern Mac, someone ported the 68k version to OS X from the original code and it's free on the Mac App Store. Either way, enjoy my friend.

Well there is this obscure one which name I have been hunting for ages

It was a really early 3D game, PC game infact, where you played this silver ball, got all sort of power ups that effected your speed, momentum, jumping, etc. The power ups usually made very exaggerated sounds to indicated what they did (like super breaks one did that wheel scream of breaks at, speed boosting one did formula sounds, etc)

It had some very fast tempo and the maps varied from castles, caves to outright bizarre acid trip block levels. The graphics were simple shape wise and the textures were also pretty simple, very basic geometric shapes, usualy in "techno" colours

The big thing was that it had a lot of lever like moving platforms that you had to use to catapult into areas with proper timing, and sometimes dodge em to not be catapulted outside the level
unfortunately I dont remember clearly too much on what you did in the game to beat it, I think it varied between collecting some stuff or trying to reach the exit.

Pic related as renderation of how it about looked like
