Diablo on PC is actually playable.

Diablo on the PS1 is quite playable. Having local co-op is a nice feature. But don't plan on using a memory card for anything else other than Diablo saves since they take up a ton of space.

Worse resolution on PS.

Main style difference is the lighting. PS version is very colorful. So if that floats your boat... have at it hoss.
I prefer the dreary look of the PC version.

PS version (PAL only I guess) has a Swedish language option including full voice acting, which is moderately interesting because it's something never seen in any non-kiddy game made by anyone before or since.

I understand you mean that Diablo I had German also only on Playstation but unlike German which a lot (90%?) of games got/get localized to Diablo I is one of a hand full retro games that got Swedish localization and the only non-educational game ever with full Swedish voice acting to my knowledge.
