Wish this game had a cd crack, I dislike putting the disc in my dos machine.

What engine is Witchhaven based on?
>>
Only ever had the demo (providing this's Witchhaven 2 and not the first) loved that demo. All the spells and different potion effects and stuff made it feel hella different, though an entirely meleefocused fps was hard to work in those days. Used to love this sword/morning star combo you could whip through stuff with.

People seem to really hate the first.

A really early version of Build, if I remember correctly. I think it was one of the first games made using the engine.

The hit detection was way off a lot of the time. Whenever you swung your weapon, it was just as likely to hit the scenery as it was the enemy you're aiming at. Didn't help that weapons degraded as they took damage from hitting the peripherals.
