Hey /vr/! I wanna start retro gaming on the cheap and I have a couple of questions.

If I build a cheapo emulation box with 240p output then is it worth getting a decent CRT? Or is there no point when I'm not using native hardware?

Is there anything specific I need to look for when purchasing a CRT? I've been looking at preowned broadcasting ones. I'll probably grab a cheap 14" one to sit under my monitor, what do you guys think?

You're about 14 years too late for that.
