So, real talk for a second, does anyone have any genuinely good memories from these guys? I feel like an outlier here.

Heroes 3 was kickass.

The market for these systems was so impressively small I would be shocked if more than 5 people on this board have even seen one of these in person when they were relevant in the 90s.

I don't think I even saw a 3DO box in a store when they were new

I remember playing a cdi in a store, and virtual boy, but 3do only existed in magazine adds as far as I remember, as elusive as a neo geo

One of my friends had a 3DO. I have some fond memories of watching (and playing I assume) Escape from Monster Manner back in middle school or thereabouts.

I bought a 3DO with a bunch of games when it was on clearance. Don't think I have the original box. It is basically unused, sitting on a shelf. Probably Panasonic. Worth anything?

Case in point.

Yes, I had a Goldstar 3D0 and I have fond memories of Return Fire and star control 2

I played so many hours of both games as a kid with my friends.

The 3DO port of Star Control 2 is almost worth having the system alone.
>>
The 3DO company kept making games even after the 3DO system was discontinued. I remember playing several of their games on PS1.

We had one. There was a demo disc that loaded up a 3x3 grid. I don't remember if it had games on it, but there was at least an episode of 2 Stupid Dogs on it, and I think an episode of the Batman cartoon.
Way of the Warrior was fun, especially when we found out how to knock the other person into the lava so they'd jump at the screen as a skeleton every time.

I still play through Might and Magic VII once in a while. Love that game.
