I've never played a Nintendo game besides SMB and I find their huge franchises overwhelming to get into.
Can /vr/ give me a newbie's guide to Nintendo so I know what to play first?

Pokemon yellow
Pretty basic well known nintendo games that aren't too overwhelming

Basically, its a tour of Nintendo and you can't really go wrong with many classic Nintendo games. You might not like some that are hyped, but you'll be sure to find some you do like.
