The soundtrack is somewhat popular, so not entirely unknown.
I miss the days of long-box games. I guess standard jewel cases were more economical though.
Despite all the criticism this game receives, it's really not that bad. The isometric perspective seems a little disproportionate to how the game controls, but you eventually get the hang of it. It's nowhere near as bad as Zaxxon with its multi-axis maneuvering.

I really have to get around to actually playing this. The box-art always gets me excited to play it but then the opening cinematic shows the heroine looking completely different and chibi.
This one (Musashi Ganryuki), I even managed to 1cc it (Japanese version, female character). Not the greatest game desu, pretty old fashioned for the time it was released, no enemy variety, etc.
However, it has a nice difficulty curve and awesome boss fights and that, along with the grappling hook mechanic and it being not too difficult, makes it a fun game to play.

I didn't even like the comics or television series as a kid, but loved the game. Haven't meet anyone else that played it. Didn't help that all my friends were Nintendo growing up.
