Where can I acquire full retro game OSTs in a modern lossless format? Obviously these games never received CD soundtrack releases, so we're relying on gamerips. VGMRips.net store all their rips in a native format, like vgm or nsf which require special players. I'm looking for music sets in a modern recorded format that can be used in the same media player amongst all my other music, like FLAC or wav.
Do any of you know any sites like this? How do you personally get your Retro game music?

Some people on youtube put quite a lot of effort into recording older stuff but unfortunately they don't usually put it up for download for some reason.

Yeah I did that. I could record and convert to wav at 44100hz or 48000hz. Why aren't people uploading these though? Converting seems easy enough but still.

Seems like a decent website anon. Although obviously it doesn't have that many soundtracks. At this rate I think I'm going to have to have record/convert myself.

Just record the VGMs, NSF U64 etc etc to FLAC or wave. Its not that hard

Foobar can play VGM and VGZ files natively with a plugin. There are probably plugins for other file types like nsf. So if you're using Foobar as your player you can just use the native files.
