I had a Phantasy Star 4 rom for TG16. It was only one room with no encounters. Played the dungeon music from PS1. Cant find it anymore. Cool thread OP
Someone ported Zelda 1 for PC Engine.
Great, but I don't own a PC Engine and ultimately I could hack my wii to play a hacked version of animal crossing so I can unlock Zelda 1, that'd be even more wicked.

There's a handful of NES games that have been hacked/ported to run on PC Engine. I have many of them on my Turbo Everdrive and they play with....varying success

Never said not playable. Many of them are very playable. Mario run pretty fast, as does Lode Runner. Neither of which are unplayable. Many of the colors however are off on each game.

Though porting from NES to PCE is probably way easier than NES to Genesis because the NES and PCE share a processor.
Finally, a reason to game on PC exists.

There are perfect ports though, such as Mega Man 2 and Jackal
