Anybody know how to wipe all save data on a Bomberman Second Attack cartridge? I want to start fresh on my copy from when I was a kid.

isn't there an erase file option

seems to only be on single-player mode, I want to erase the battle mode clears as well.

smash the cart

remove the battery and then reinstall it.

Some games take some kind of secret button input for a full clear
Google it

I tried and got nothing, not even a manual scan which is where I usually look

DELETING A RECORD
You can do this when the Game Data in an N64 Controller Pak is full and no more
new Records can be made. Insert an N64 Controller Pak into Controller 1, and turn the Control Deck power ON while pressing START. Next, the screen displays
a menu for deleting Records. Select the unwanted Record and delete it. Once you've deleted a Record, it is permanently gone.

Sweet, thanks friend. I saw that and tried it, but got the controller pak manager and assumed it didn't work for cartridge data. Removing the controller pak did the trick.
