I just saw someone stream this obscure FMV game called "Alive". All in Japanese with zero translation. Mostly QTE and some hacking segments for gameplay. It seems to have had a pretty decent budget for an FMV game. Most of those were just green screens. But this is mostly on location shooting, with guns cars and explosions.
You can watch some playthroughs on Youtube. Anyone know anything more about this game?

FMV games are my guilty pleasure.
From what I've read, this game appears to have been better received than the average FMV game.
On an unrelated note, I knew I'd seen that actress somewhere, she was in a few TV series in Japan.

It has pretty decent production values. It looks more like a low budget movie than anything. It could ahve worked as that.
