What's the best 3rd-party s-video Nintendo chord? Using it for N64, GCN, and eventually SNES when I get around to finding one for a fair price. I'm using it on a tube TV.

Typically if it doesn't have a yellow composite attached to it you're good. I picked one of the more popular ones on ebay that fit the criteria and it does just fine.
I recently nabbed an official SFC-era cable for a good price and I can't tell a difference besides the unoffiicial cable possibly making more of a buzzing sound. Nothing that justifies paying a lot extra.

I actually run Innovation s vid cables on all of my Nintendo consoles. They're pretty good. No checker board and no weird noise

Anything with a third harmonic

The gold plated one I sell for $75 in my eBay shop.
Is it normal for snes sprites to have slight bleeding on the right with s-video cables?
>>3275128
That's more likely ringing than bleeding
>>3275128
Even rgb bleeds a little to the right, I feel.

Good to know, I recently bought an s-video cable after playing with RF for years and I was worried that the cable was damaged or something.

I bought a shitty n64 s-video cable that still has composite
really noticeable checkerboard pattern, but it's still an improvement over the original composite cables
probably going to get ultrahdmi as some point anyway.
