Sup, /vr/, these 2 games were developed by BlueSky software in the mid-late 90's and I'd like to figure out which engine they run on. The amazon description for the Goosebumps Attack of the Mutant strategy guide claims that it runs on a modified Doom engine, but the file structure for these games is unlike anything i've ever seen. here are some videos:

I Mean, i would if i actually knew how to use one.

I think they programmed the engine in house and just reused it for goosebumps. Doesn't look like a doom engine at all.
Are there more games that work and feel very similar to these?

If it's an in house engine, i'll be really impressed. BlueSky pretty much never touched 3D aside from these 2 games.

It was already 1995-96. I think (pseudo) 3D was kinda figured out by then.
Many of these doom clones also had their own "engine". It wasn't always a licensed one.

Didn't Blue Sky make Ultima Underworld?
>>
psst, if you want a game illegally using the Doom engine check out the PC version of Killing Time (1996)

nope. That was Blue Sky Productions, unrelated to BlueSky Software.

Didn't these guys make Vectorman?

I love making-ofs for lesser known games.
