I've broke my legs and now i've a lot of time. I would like to play some nice retro rpg, but i can't resolve myself. What do you reccomend? I've already played all the FF from I to IX, Chrone Trigger and Secret of Mana.
Elemental Gimmick Gear if you like zelda-like exploration rpg's.
also the egg-racing minigames are too fun and a challenge.
The Soul Blazer trilogy
The Mother trilogy
Treasure of the Rudras
Tales of Phantasia/Destiny/Eternia/Destiny 2
Star Ocean 2
Valkyrie Profile
The Ogre Battle series
The SaGa series
The Dragon Quest series

I'm a professional Go-Kart pilot, last weeks i've broke my legs in a kart crash. The funny thing is that my Kart has several Mario Kart stencil on it.

topkek.
Anyway sorry to hear about your injuries.
Anons here made some good recommendations already, but if you're looking for 1 game that you'll likely be playing even after you've healed, because it's so fucking long, I would highly recommend Dragon Warrior 7. This game will suck you in to it's world and you won't be able to stop playing it. It has one of the most unique stories of the entire DQ series. It's really fucking good, just be prepared to sink 100+ hours into it.

Metal Max Returns. It's a JRPG where you're a bounty hunter and you pilot tanks.

Action RPGs are sweeet:
Crystalis
Terranigma
Seiken Densetsu 3

This, it's like FF6 but you craft your own spells by making up words. Really good.
Secret of Evermore, then Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2).

Phantasy Star

If you know your way around RPG Maker (assuming you do due to the RM2K pic), look for games for that. Some are worth playing.
Jay's Journey is a good parody, Final Fantasy Endless Nova could be a legitimate game if the serial numbers were filed off and got an actual spriter, and the Legion Saga trilogy is pretty good if you like Suikoden.

/o/ here how many cc? Pics of krashed kart?
This is my kind thread but I'm gonna need proof of your sweet ass OP

To be fair the only games he actually mentioned in the OP were Japanese console RPGs, I figured he wanted more of those bright colors and relaxing musics to aid in his convalescence.

Shining Force
Lufia 2 might be the best jrpg on the SNES. No you don't have to play the first Lufia to appreciate the story.
