Lately I've been playing some co-op games with a bro, but in some games there's a strange rule that when player 1 dies, player 2 dies as well. That, or something arbitrary like player 2 can't scroll the screen or enter doors.

>Kirby Super Star
>Kirby's Dreamland 3
all very comfy games but shit sucks when player 2 isn't 100% equal to player 1.
What are some 'true' co-op games? Preferably SNES but anything goes really.
