Aside from small mechanical changes in the games, they function super similar from the arcade all the way up to the Wii.

nice, one thing i don't really understand is the speedruns of the NES MTPO. They just beat later opponents like even Iron Mike on the first round, i think it has something to do with what time they get or something.

I always felt SPO was a lot, lot easier than its NES counterpart.
