In the Famicom version of Sunsoft's Batman, music from stage 1 and 2 are swapped.
It was a bit mind blowing for me to learn that Streets of Desolation, one of the greatest stage 1 themes ever, was originally used in stage 2.

Man, I don't know why Streets of Desolation gets so much love. The Sewer and the Axis Chemical Plant both had better music.I'll bet it's because most people couldn't make it that far.
Kage, the original Japanese version of Shadow Of The Ninja aka Blue Shadow has a LOT of different enemy placement.
Journey To Silius has a different protagonist sprite.

Seconding this. I'd argue Streets of Desolation was the weakest stage BGM in the game.It's still good though
Werewolf the Last Warrior and Warwolf for some reason both use different instruments as having a different final boss theme, graphics are also a bit different
