Nice spelling OP. Great thread.
Just got a copy last week, I never spend much on games but I dropped $50 on this beauty.

You pick some action.

I remember when I first tried playing, I didn't like that I couldn't give commands in battle. Later on though, I warmed up to the idea.
I think it would've been much better executed if the fronts and the amount of units on the field were much higher, since it was very hands off and most of the stuff relevant to a battle was done before it.
did somebody say ogre
How does one get into this series? SNES version of n64 version?

No, someone said Oger.
Return to your slumber.

snes
Any tips for a new player?
It's ogre.

i beat the snes game back in the 90s but only got the 2nd best ending because I couldn't find one zodiac stone and i let canopus die accidentally (or maybe i deleted him). i didn't realize until stage 20 but was too invested to start over.
i'm finally playing it again though, and it's exactly like i remember. got a random drop crown in pogrom forest, so i've got a princess already, too.
my plan is to go for a 17-character world ending (all named characters except galf).
basically:
- stay high rep with low level leader until i get all 16 other named characters
- then kill rep quickly by fighting low level neutral units
- recruit deneb
- grind up rep ASAP by killing galf and reclaiming hidden cities after conquering the maps.
hopefully it'll work out.
