Sega's not doing too hot, right? They should port some of their gems over to consoles. Like pic related!

But then there's stuff like magical truck adventure that's IMPOSSIBLE to simply port over to consoles. What are your thoughts, /vr/? What are some other arcade gems that are only possible to play in the arcade and/or is doomed to stay in arcades?

Never had the chance to play this.

This was at magfest like 2 years ago in their arcade room. Was so pumped to play it but when I got up there, there was this Stanley wet juicy brown stain right in the middle of the seat. The juice was like dripping off the from if the seat too, so groce.

Anyways, later when I was playing Barbie Motocross Adventure, I glanced over and saw some little baby sitting in it with his friend right by it. The greasy shit water was pooling up around where he was sitting. Like how could you not notice that????

The campground my family always went to had an awesome pole barn converted into an arcade. Had all kinds of current games like SF2, MK2, NBA Jam and pinball machines.

They also had Konami's Racin' Force which I could not remember the name of for years and years. Fucking loved playing this even though I was probably total garbage at it. Hope to run across it again someday.

The audio on this video is kind of loud, so heads up:

Also I didn't fully read the OP. This could have easily been ported to home consoles. Still a fun game though.

Sega's Top Skater comes to mind. Can't imagine rigging up something that would play quite the same as the arcade machine.

Still trying to figure out why Konami never made a Kinect/PSeye version of Police911 arcade.

Probably because the kinect's a piece of shit compared to the technoogy they made for that years ago.

Seriously. police911 is responsive as fuck. I was surprised at how accurately it detected everything. It was just a matter of how good you were at the game.

Loved it. Legs hurt just thinking about playing it.

pic related is another game that they should port over.

Really digged pic related - gets a bit cheap deaths towards the end, but i'd love to spend more time with it. Only time I got to play it was at a gaming con too, and I pretty much had to credit feed - only time I'd even seen it in the wild, so had to see it through.

A home port'd have to be able to replicate slamming the stick for those awesome barrel roll dashes, though.

I felt like I was the only one who remembered that game. Every time I show someone, they've never seen it. I want one so badly. It's probably super difficult to find one, and find one where the board isn't messed up. I remember there was one at the mall, and the board would constantly be broken from people acting like assholes on it.

Because you can't make a pachinko machine out of it.

>Police 911
My local Regal Cinema used to have this, Crazy Taxi, Tekken 4, Time Crisis 2, Crisis Zone, 18 Wheeler, Galaga/Ms Pac-Man, Darkstalkers... And more at different times of its existence. Now it's just Raw Thrills Terminator and pretend Hydro Thunder. And of course they each cost a dollar a credit.

Oh yes, remember playing it at a holiday park around '95 or '96 time I think? Great fun, but pretty difficult IIRC.
