Loved these things when I was younger. Too bad I don't have them anymore.
I feel like collecting them again.
>>
>>3230412
They're expensive as holy fuck now. Sometimes surpassing Earthbound prices. It's completely retarded.
>>
>>3230414
Yeah everyone knows earthbound is the rarest video game of all time

Rarest no, one of the most overpriced yes.

I had this one, no idea the year though

There are several at ebay ranging at the $200 - $300. If you believe that's expensive, then you're probably way too poor to collect anything.
>>
>>3230418
It occupies a spot of being not too uncommon, but famed and rare (and slightly overrated) enough that it's kind of needlessly expensive

That's supply & demand though.

mum gave me her 5-6 game and watches when i was 5, fucked them up because i was a kid
i picked up a gakken donkey angler a few weeks ago for $2, kinda want to pick some more stuff up, but prices are retarded

It's because the plastic the case is made of is the hardest metal of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Is that Munchman? I played that ages ago.

I have vague memories of having this when I was 4-5 years old.

Hardest in 1994 maybe. Dragonforce was invented in 1999 though, blowing diamond out of the water when it comes to hardest metal.
>>
>>3230323
Someone on Ashen's video about this thing worked out the cost of the games to be something like 40 pounds in today's currency. Utterly absurd.
>>
>>3230418
That title belongs to EB0 or Mother 1

That actually looks really cool.

What the fuck
That was really specific

A fascinating piece of clever engineering. Not digital at all- the only thing that is electronic and uses the battteries is the LED- but through an ingenious mechanic they managed to fit a ~ was it 60? positions long repeating cycle which number the blip will go to into this thing. And on top the mechanic that allows you "catch". This also means the (nonexistent) "computer" will always be perfect as it is simply the blip going back, not having been stopped.

I once found the Donkey Kong one. Somebody dropped it in the playground of my Primary School back in 1990 and I picked it up.

Fun game.

About a year later I found an American player-guide for Super Mario World in the bushes. Yes, really. This was before the Super Nintendo was even released in the UK. I don't know how that happened but it served me well when I eventually got the game.

I'm 32. If that's now considered old on THIS board then I guess I'm fucked.

30 should be the average age here (should being the key word)

You are fine
