This game is so addictive. So simple, but so good.
What are some other good pinball video games?
I only played Sonic Spinball and Pokemon Pinball but honestly I think I like the old NES pinball the best.
Rollerball is another quite decent NES pinball game.

>HAL America
Is that HAL from Kirby games? They had an american branch?
I will try it either way, thanks for the suggestion.
Play pinbot my dad got it for me as a kid and it was awesome. Challenging and fun.
My dad always brought some weird ass game I would have never thought to ask for.

Pinball Quest is pretty awesome if you want to play a pinball RPG.
Always loved Psycho Pinball on the Mega Drive. Was one of my favourite games growing up.

>thunder force song
not bad desu
>>3230218
Some anon just told me about how I can unlock NES games on Animal Crossing easily and I've been playing some classic NES games, haven't played NES Pinball since I was a kid and I realized how great it is.
If Cinemassacre just uploaded a video of Pinball it was a heavy coincidence, but I don't watch e-celeb.
I'm going back pretty far with this one, but Intellivision Pinball should not be overlooked. It's a really good game.
>>3230507
I feel like every time I see a video from mike and bootsy, a thread on here pops up thereafter claiming coincidence. Strange behavior on this board
>>3230516
whatevs, again I don't watch e-celeb stuff. It was all thanks to the Wario's Woods thread.
>alien crush
>devil's crush
Don't forget Jaki Crush! The music in this game is great.
Pinbot for the NES is an adaptation of a classic table. The music is fucking awesome too.

>for the ps1
dude, wtf? Get the PC version or don't bother
>>3230516
Correlation is not causation.
>>3230596
Stop forcing your e-celeb shitposting on an otherwise fine pinball thread, retard.
>>3230608
This thread is for video game pinball, not pinball machines. Nobody is posting pinball vidya on the other thread.
Anyway, again, fuck off with your e-celeb cancer.

>>3230612
>Super Pinball
that fucking clown laughing at me pissed me off so much
>Super Pinball 2
i didn't think it was as good as the first one
I know what you mean, OP
I didn't have the original but I played this a TON in animal crossing.
Galactic Pinball on Virtual boy.
No joke this is great, emulate it or something.
>>3229976
I remember managing to roll the score for Pop Pop when I was a kid.
>>3229976
>pinball RPG
not even sure how that'd work but you got me interested
>>3229976
Hoooly fuck I forgot all about that game.
I remember as a kid I never really appreciated pinball too much, but I really enjoyed this one.
When my dad would take me to an arcade he'd always hit up the pinball machines while I'd usually gravitate to the beat 'em ups or second rate fighting games like World Heroes and Time Killers.I still prefer them to street fighter.
Midnight Magic.
>>3229919
Rock 'n' Ball and Kirby Pinball Land were my old favorites.
Really wish they had a The Addams Family recreation for consoles / handhelds back in the day.
Anyone played the Game & Watch Pinball?
>>3231041
no, but want to. Is there a virtual variant somewhere?
>>3229919
The only two video games my dad played were Pinball (NES) and Tetris (Gameboy). He was born in 1934, so this stuff was pretty fancy to him.. RIP.
Video Pinball on the VCS is the shit.
What's your top score on NES pinball?
I've got over 160k points once.
Also anyone played the arcade version?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4I1cWOTAh0
>>3229919
You can try Revenge of the Gator, also by HAL.
>>3230542
The demon on the title screen sounds retarded. "JAKI...CRAWSH"
>>3231041
I had this one as a kid. I loved it! The only handheld besides GB I liked to play.
You just can't screw up pinball.
Space Cadet is WindowsMe,NT,2000,XP accessory.

That game had kickass music and sound-effects. But the silly bad-SatAm-cartoon-style spaceman kinda ruined it for me. It's almost as if he's apologizing to you for being there.
A classic, a great pinball game.
I played the living shit out of this when I was a kid.
>>3229919
Try Psycho Pinball
It is really awesome
Super Pinball: Behind the Mask is probably my favorite. The last machine, Wizard, is actually kinda creepy, especially if you play it in the dark.
>>3236786
I just hate the announcer voice.
>>3236796HO HO HO HO! WANNA TRY AGAIN?
>>3230562
holy fuck, dude.
>>3236772
favorite of mine
>>3229976
I love this game. I actually came into the thread to see if anyone had mentioned it.
There's an indie title called Rollers of the Realm on Steam that seems like the modern day rebirth of the idea.
>>3230562
Everything about game used to creep me out as a kid, it just had an unsettling sort of vibe at the time
>>3236602
Fuck yeah.
I got pretty good at bumping the board without tilting bouncing the ball between the right (I think) pillars getting the multiplier high.
>>3240204
Loool... I couldnt see the pic when replying (using clover). Guess multiplier is left pillars.
>>3230562
That looks fucking amazing for NES. Especially considering how it looks exactly like the physical Pinbot machine.
>>3240567
it's a static, manually drawn image of the real machine. The impressive bit is the use of the very limited palette and probably a few sprite overlays
https://youtu.be/fLOKi1k4A4M
Great video about the game
What about Odama on GameCube?
Always wanted to play it but you need a fucking microphone add on
>>3242213
Thanks for posting, that was a good watch.
>>3230656
This.
The Virtual Boy has the best controller for pinball. The L and R almost make you feel like you're playing the real thing.
OP if you loved NES Pinball, for the love of god try out the Vs. arcade version. It makes the NES version feel like an unfinished prototype.

>>3245142
I don't like how you can easily get to the lower screen if you get the ball on the hole to the left.
But other than that, I don't see a big difference, other than a few minimal graphical changes like the numbers and some colors. What makes this better than the NES version? Also, is it possible to emulate it with MAME or something?
Night Mission Pinball
Had an adjustment screen where you could change all sorts of game variables affecting the physics and display.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8xF6300Hdw
>>3236602
My favorite trick was when you went down the left gutter, if you nudged to the right, the ball would hit an invisible wall at the bottom and bounce back up. Do it right, and you could actually recover the ball without tilting.
Pinball Dreams on the Amiga is excellent. Great physics, nice graphics, no fancy gimimcks.
Stange to think the people who made it went on to make Battlefield.
>>3245720
MAME does it justice either via retroarch or frontends. There's some neat easter eggs in it. You remember those chick eggs near at the bottom? If you get them all to turn pink, you get a ball save where fucking Clu-Clu swoops in and hauls the ball back to the top of the screen. I freaked the fuck out the first time this happened. Honestly the ball hole sink on the right didn't bother me, hell that's probably what it would do on a real pinball machine if we're talking challenging design. Oh and the music they added reminds me of Firepower, which is one of my favorite pinball machines.

ANON GET OUT
>>3247239
Cool, thanks, I will try it later then.
I don't see a huge difference graphically, but the clu-clu cameo is cool.
And yeah I guess the hole sink thing is more challenging that way, but that also means I'd be on the lower part of the table most of the times and that'd suck for me at least. But I'll try it out for sure.
The music is fine, but I think nothing on the arcade game beats the nostalgic title screen jingle for me.
