I'm just not that good at 2D action games I guess, I have finished many hard FPSs and RTSs as well as older RPGs like Wizardry IV, but SMBJ2 was genuinely the one game that crushed my balls hard.

I can defend myself on games like SMB3 or even the first Castlevania (once I figured out the holy water trick for Death, although I did beat him a few times with the cross), but SMB2J is too hard. The controls and momentum is fine, I just suck at it.
