So I've been playing this game for 20 years, playing and finishing it every few years at least, and I had no clue about the electrocution method for beating this guy until yesterday.
I had been just blasting away with missiles like a fucking chump. Am I retarded? Did everyone else know?
What simple things did you done wrong for a while in games?

The quickest way to kill Draygon is with a shinespark, but it's not easy. I see speedrunners flub the quick kill all the time.
A costly misstep, because Draygon is one of the two bosses in the game that can very easily kill you on a speedrun (the other being Phantoon). Basically, everyone hates Draygon.

I have never beaten this game. I give it a try every few years. Then i kinda give up because I lack motivation in life and when I want to pick it up again I forget where I am and what I still have to do and what I already did so the only option is to start from scartch- which I won't do until a few years later when I try again. This cycle repeats since the game got released.

Well there is short charging which is just holding the run button a second after you start moving and then there is the stutter step which is by pressing the run button on the appropiate frame on Samus' run animation. It's the one where Samus' upper arm is strait down.
