How about I call it whatever the fuck I want. If I trigger some autist then that's too bad. I call the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) the snez. Besides it sounds cooler. It's more xtreme and 90's. It's bodacious, tubular, rad, and whatever other terms the old timers around here use.
I also refer to the PlayStation as the PSX.
I do pronounce Sega correctly though. Although sometimes I may say it like this:

As for the original NES, however, I will not accept "Nintendo" in either speech or writing after the SNES became available in your country (from 1990 in Japan to 1993 in South America). For that, you'll have to either use "N-E-S" or "Nintendo Entertainment System" (or "Family Computer" or "Famicom" if you're specifically talking about its original Japanese incarnation).
