Any Syphon Filter lovers here? I replayed it recently and it's every bit as good as i remember it. People always call it ghetto Metal Gear or shit but i think that's really undeserved, the combination of heavy stealth missions and run 'n' gun action is impeccable. Also it's one hell of an achievement considering it's made by people who made Bubsy 3d.

I liked how the targeting worked in the series.
The SF trilogy is great, I play it all the time, it's a thousand times better than modern shooters.

2 and 3 are some of my favs for the PS1, really damn good games. Multiplayer was fun, too.
Also, the goddamn taser. Definitely one of the best things about the games.
Haven't played any of the newer ones (besides a bit of one of the PSP games at a friend's house) yet.

It's funny because I recently read this retrospective article about Eidetic/Sony Bend where one of the developers mentioned that Bubsy 3D was the reason Sony approached them to do the first game, as they felt the engine was suitable for what they wanted Syphon Filter to be.
