AES is affordable... the games are not. Cabinet would be cool, but no space. this is attractive to me, but are all the negative reviews true? is there any hacks or shit to fix it or do anything cool with it?
it's an emulation machine. You could emulate neo geo better on a 15 year old pc

It's literally emulation. It's literally running games off Final Burn Alpha. It's a waste of money.
Get the MVS cabinet and the all-in-one pirate cartridge with every game on it, if you absolutely MUST own an actual Neo Geo.
That shit was so bad, SNK ended the contract with the company making those in less than a year. Dont bother buying it unless you want the controller.

This you can get the 161 in 1 on aliexpress for less than 70 burgers but thr consolized mvs varies depending on where you go to. Generally around 250-650 burgers. But there are certian games not included in this like fatal fury 2- real bout 2 and KOF 2K among others.

Or you could just emulate. FBA is actually a really good emulator. People hate on NGX so bad the prices are sometimes shockingly low and it's been jailbroken to run some other emulators. It has the classic neo geo clicky d-stick and the arcade stick that comes with it also has the classic neo geo feel it's a damn shame it's proprietary. Honestly if you're looking for a low power tier portable emulator and you like the NeoGeo aesthetic you could do worse than NGX. If I saw one for $30 I'd probably buy it.
