Can we have a Saturn thread? I'm thinking of bringing the old boy out and use Pseudo Saturn but I'm not sure what to play.
There's a lot of arcadey games on it.
I need to play Burning Rangers and Bulk Slash but the first time I played them I didn't enjoy them too much.
Everytime I use the Saturn I end up playing fightan and shmup.

Do it. On my first playthrough I also didn't really like it. But after a few days I decided to give it another chance and was pretty much hooked.
Played through the game 6 times in one sitting,unlocking all the waif- .. navigators and their artwork by scoring high enough during a playthrough.
I still play it from time to time because it's pretty short, the perfect length if you just need a quick action fix or have to kill some time.
Crazy replay value. Can't recommend it enough.

After you beat the game the level of your navigator and your score will be automatically saved. After your first playthrough there will be a new screen where you can select a navigator to start with after you hit start game.
As I said before the game is not really long.
30 - 40 minutes if you know what you are doing.
Mission variety is great and chaining explosions to score high is fun as fuck.
It's really worth it.
Psuedosaturn is best route if you don't want to solder it. I found out and finally played all the panzer dragoon games, Garegga, hyper duel, Bulk Slash, Psychic killer Taromaru, Salamander Deluxe, and that amazing port of Outrun.
Is Duke Nukem 3D on the saturn the best console port before the 7th gen ports?

Cyberbots is one the greatest ideas capcom ever did and the spiritual successor tech romancer is awesome
I wish capcom ported strider over to the Saturn or even made another capcom collection to include strider, forgotten worlds and Final Fight.
Or sega port over the original shinobi, Super Hang On, or even Revenge of Death Addler. So much potential still in that 2D Powerhouse.
