I beat this the other day. The level design was shitty at parts, the controls were laggy and unresponsive, and hitboxes were weird.

Bonk 2 is definitely better, it's one of my favorite games of all time. The level design is a big step up
But Bonk 2 has similar controls/physics, so you may not like it either. You can now "wall jump" but the spin has a delay
If you do like it though,
>skip Bonk 3 (boring, uninspired)
>skip Super Bonk for now (decent but odd), and
Play Super Bonk 2. That game has the best controls, it's the only one you can run in. The graphics are also pretty good. And it has just as much creativity as Bonk 2. I overall like Bonk 2 better but Super Bonk 2 is a close 2nd or 3rd in the series
