Too many to choose from and the worst is that 90% of them are irrelevant.
Natsume, Konami, Capcom, Sunsoft (really miss this one), and Taito.

There are really too many though. Capcom, Sega, Nintendo, Natsume, Sunsoft, Square, ect. All excellent during the Golden Age.
Used to be Capcom but I've been leaning towards Konami lately.

Same here. The 90s were Square's high point. Generally high quality and unique games from varied genres. Sakaguchi was such an incredible producer with a real eye for talent.

Tie between Rare and Square.
Both developers with amazing variety who put out really great stuff through the 4th and 5th gens, which are my favorite period in gaming. I especially enjoy Square's ps1 games that weren't RPG's like Einhander and Bushido Blade.
