So I was showing TMNT Tournament Fighters to my 5 yeard-old nephew (I would go easy on him and let him win half the time, obviously), and I decided to show him the secret characters for shits.

I told him to pick Rat King, completely forgetting just how broken he was. He went on to completely shit on me, even perfecting me once. Even he commented on how easy it was.

Granted, I am the furthest thing from an expert at this game and I hadn't played it in a long time, but come the fuck on.

Joy Mech Fight has the ULTIMATE broken character in a fighting game. The final boss, Houhou, becomes playable once you've unlocked every character. The dude is basically an automatic win unless you are absolute shit AND the other player picks a top tier character. It's nearly impossible to lose otherwise.

Interestingly, Joy Mech Fight also has the WORST character in any fighting game. A dude name Zako who's nearly impossible to win with unless the gap in skill is obscene and even then you basically have to be facing a low to mid tier character. I doubt you could beat a high tier character regardless of skill level unless the other person was straight up not paying attention.

SNK bosses unbreak themselves when controlled by humans. An AI SNK boss can usually buffer unbufferable moves have no crouch animation (but can still block and hit low, you just can't see it coming.)

I rented this on SNES quite often and couldn't ever beat story mode, even on the easiest setting. Usually Chrome Dome would wreck me
it's fun in 2player though. Apparently other versions had different characters.

This black motherfucker from the Genesis version. In the multiplayer Vs. mode, he can spend all day in an infinite axe spin. The only way to stop him is if you hit his small head hitbox with a precise dive kick. Keep in-mind, the game has 8-way movement like as it's a beat em' up, not a traditional horizontal fighter. My dickhead friend refused to play as anyone else.

Also, Akuma. Ryu at least was available in a good version, and Evil Ken didn't even exist, outside of hacks. They should have included a wretched-akuma, and an evil-dan, for some damn balance!

You could just keep repeatedly hovering up and away and out of reach, since both the lift gear and the gun on this mech were top end, you could just stay in flight in the upper corner and take decently dangerous shots.

The other versions were entirely different games, and were nowhere near as good or polished. Granted, the SNES game was nothing special, but for a SF2 clone, it did its job well.

Saturnfags pride over the Vampire Savior port though.

Hunter was good but not arcade perfect. Still miles better then the PS1 port of Vampire 1, and included backgrounds/music from the first game so it's still a nice version.
