If you didn't enjoy the combat system, then the game doesn't have much else going on. The TPS/platforming sections aren't too good and dungeons are pretty basic with a few exceptions. It's all about the fights, I found the last half of the game to be way better than the beginning due to being able to pull off a lot more complicated moves with suplexes and stuff, at first you're kind of limited even though you can make your own custom combos.
Some nitpicks from me:
- NES is missing The Magic of Scheherazade and DQ 3-4
- SNES has a ton of random meh games like FEDA, Daikaijuu Monogatari, Hourai Gakuen no Bouken, and Herakles no Eikou III, but it's missing (much) better games like Star Ocean 1, Tactics Ogre, Ogre Battle, Illusion of Gaia, Chaos Seed, Alcahest, Hiouden, Treasure Hunter G, etc. Even stuff like Front Mission, Bahamut Lagoon, and DQ 5-6 is better than some of what is on this list.
- FF4 and FF6 should be labeled as such to be more accurate and avoid confusion. They were only called 2 and 3 in the US because of the release order here, but now with rereleases, retranslations, easier access to information, etc., there's almost no reason to call them that anymore.
- Terranigma isn't PAL only, it came out in Japan, and it's possible to play it in English in NTSC format with a patch, which is ideal.
- Some other labeling issues like why aren't Secret of Mana and SD3 considered Action-RPGs?
- Thracia 776 should be right up there along with Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu.
- I haven't played that many GBC RPGs, but I've played Pokemon Crystal and the DQ games. Last Bible 2 seems pretty mediocre. Star Ocean: Blue Sphere is better than all of them.

The chart is meant to be an introduction for someone who wants to get into old RPGs. Labeling the games correctly is a good idea, so there's no confusion with the actual "FF2" and "FF3" for NES, or so they know that "FF3" for SNES actually came out after FF5 which is in the same chart.
At this point people who still call FF4 and FF6 "2" and "3" are in the minority. They're mostly people who grew up when the internet wasn't a big thing so most people didn't know about the true release order s they got used to calling them that. But now with all the information being out there, rereleases as early as the GBA and the PS1 being called "FF4" and them being called like that everywhere else, that's how they're known now.
I'd honestly be curious to know the last time the games were officially called FF2 and FF3. Even if you go on Steam for example, FF3 is the remake of the original NES game and FF6 is the port of the SNES game.

I honestly doubt most people know about the entire series, all the ports, etc. I stopped paying attention to Tony Hawks after THPS4 so I'd be curious to see what someone who's very familiar with the series can tell me about all the games if I ever decide to get back into it.
Also these guides can be posted somewhere else (I saw the /cgg/ recommended games, and the STALKER general guide on other sites and on /v/). And /vr/ / 4chan has a pretty sizable number of people who don't know much about games judging by the lack of substantial posts in recent months/years, so it can definitely help them.
