Hey, I was always curious why the Super Nintendo never got a second Zelda despite being a successful and long lived console. It turns out that the BS Zeldas (the Zelda 1 remake and Ancient Stone Tablets) are a bit of lost Zelda titles.
Anyway, I am more curious about the Zelda 1 remake of the BS titles. How does it stack up compared to the original Zelda? Does it improve on it a lot, and is it even worth to play?
As far as I know it's the exact same thing with better graphics but you play as a stupid kid with a baseball cap instead of Link. Your pic is from a romhack that replaces him with Link.

It has a BS timer and some other changes. Plus there are two versions of a map. There are patches that make it as close to LoZ as it can get or just fix problems and allow you to play BS Zelda with new characters and other shit.

nah, the actual bs zelda uses a completely new smaller quest. there are two quest patches that restore the original quests tho.
