The only thing those guys were good at was wandering around and sealing ancient evils so that they could later escape and cause havoc.

Bartz & Gang break a bunch of ancient seals and kill all sorts of guardians of things good and evil.
I don't think anything is left unfucked in the wake of Bartz.
