It's a cult classic, but it should be just classic in general. Obviously it's not as charming as LucasArts or Sierra adventures, but goddamn it's great.

Mount it with to a diskdrive maybe? It works with PS1 games, no clue about Saturn emulation.

Shadow Madness is the most underrated game there is. People frequently include it on "worst game" lists. I think this is partly because of the bad graphics, and partly because it's unfairly seen as a FFVII clone (it was in development before FFVII was released). People also seem to dislike how grinding is useless and only makes you hit the level cap.
But Shadow Madness has far better writing than the average JRPG, and some interesting settings and characters. The music is good too, and you are given a chance to avoid random encounters by reacting to audio cues. It's certainly not a top-tier JRPG, but it is far better than its reputation.
