I only tried the demo of Lords of Shadow and it made me not want to play it. I did force myself through this abomination though and it is no joke, one of the worst "video games" I've ever played, ever. I was yearning for Altered Beast, the combat was so boring. And that was the better part of the game!

I don't get how they could make a castlevania game and then keep platforming and combat completely separate from each other. It would have been one thing if each section was interesting, but the combat is broken, boring and easy and the "platforming" doesn't even pretend to have any challenge. Even if you do miss a glowing whip point and fall, you respawn almost right where you just were.
