I've always been fascinated by these all in one behemoths. Not very practical really but still very appealing.

What are your opinions on them?

Buying the separate consoles with their CD-ROM add-ons plus a stand-alone LD player probaby cost a lot less than a LaserActive with all the modules. But hey, at least you get a small library of exclusive games, like slightly better ports of Road Avenger and Time Gal.
