1 and 2 by a long shot. The 3&K jingle has seriously overstayed it's welcome. I'm surprised they didn't even use 1/2 in Generations.

Sonic 1/2 sounds the best but Sonic 3 is the catchiest.

Dunno why you'd even include the CD jingles. I prefer the JP jingle if we were to decide between just the two.

I like the 1&2 jingle most though. It sounds like home.

Well I consider Sonic CD to be part of the main classic Sonics.
I like that the US jingle is sort of like a remixed version of the Sonic 1 and 2 jingle, the last notes are the same (or almost).

But my favorite is still also the original Sonic 1 and 2 jingle.

The first one that came to my mind. The Sonic 1 jingle.

From what you've posted, I think the Japanese CD is the best piece of audio there.

Full orchestration, catchy, quirky. It's good.

What a strange idea for a thread. Sonic 3's jingle is best, I think. Though the versions based on it that appear in later games don't do it for me.

jp cd is also pretty cool, i grew attached to it despite not liking the game that much.

The best one is Eggman Origins
and the one from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, mainly because it is the most memorable one, and the one used in almost every sonic game ever.

My favourites are the Sonic CD EU/JP and Sonic 3 ones.
