It was a rushed port of a game that was already 3 years old and as such was competing with Soul Fucking Calibur and DOA2.
They should've made Fighters Megamix 2 using VF3 engine instead.

Fighters Megamix was already a little bit sloppy.
I mean the AM2 Palm Tree and a fucking Pork Chop. It's funny at first, but then you realize there's a bunch of filler characters like this, some of them don't even move and just flail around.
